The World Union Academy for Cosmetology ( Confederation Mondiale Artistique de la coiffure – CMAC )
is an international non-governmental organization whose origins go back to 1937 in Italy and in 2005 it became headquartered in Dubai. CMAC is considered the global reference for developing skills, standards, human expertise and technical capabilities in the field of cosmetology and beautification, with the aim of enhancing the effective role of these professions in national and global social and economic development. CMAC is independent of any political or religious affiliation and is funded by governments and individuals who share its vision. CMAC’s mission is to support and develop the skills and competencies of beauty and cosmetology professionals, regardless of their religion, color, or political orientation.
